Accounts Payable Analyst - UPMC Ireland Location: MacDonagh Office Job type: Permanent Overview of role: As UPMC Ireland continues its expansion of services, this position offers an exciting opportunity to join the existing Finance Team.
This person will be a key member of the accounts payable function.
In addition to administrative tasks, the person will collaborate closely with suppliers, the warehouse and purchasing teams.
They will also be a key contributor to the roll out of our new ERP system, Meditech.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices for UPMC group companies Maintain vendor master data Reconcile vendor balances and respond to vendor queries Ensure adherence to three-way match principles for all purchases Resolve invoice exceptions in a timely manner SAP Concur administration and processing of claims Ad hoc monthly reporting tasks and reporting Support year-end audit Qualifications & Experience: Previous Accounts Payable experience dealing with high volumes and purchase order systems is essential Preferred qualifications including an accounting technician qualification or other business qualification, though these are not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Possess strong IT skills particularly in Microsoft Excel The position will evolve as the business grows, requiring adaptability in developing processes and procedures This job description outlines the key areas of responsibility for the position.
