Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer Location: Dublin, Ireland Employment Type: Full-Time, Permenant We are looking for a driven and skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on diverse and challenging projects within a dynamic environment.
Role Overview:You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical project activities from design review through to construction and commissioning, ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and project requirements.
Ensure all work is delivered in line with the Project Quality Assurance (QA) Plan and benchmarking processes.
Develop engineering solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches, for client approval.
Manage and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify and confirm project scope and requirements.
Review coordinated construction drawings and prepare technical submittals for client approval.
Evaluate specialist supplier packages to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and design intent.
Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and monitor procurement schedules.
Review and coordinate preliminary Building Control (BCAR) inspection plans with the quality team.
Role Requirements: Degree (Level 7/8) in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
Strong IT skills, particularly with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
