Senior Mechanical Engineer Senior Mechanical Engineer required to join one of Europes leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a Data Centre project in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will report into the Mechanical Project Manager and be responsible for the working with a team of Mechanical sub-contractors ensuring the successful delivery of Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of mechanical designs to identify discrepancies in specifications and IFC drawings, and generate detailed RFIs to clarify potential issues.
Verify equipment sizes (ductwork, pipework, etc.), provide recommendations as necessary, and apply troubleshooting techniques to identify and correct problems.
Oversee submittals, manage the approval process, track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment, and verify receipt upon delivery.
Perform mechanical system walk-downs to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and the company Integrated Management System.
Coordinate and manage mechanical services with other disciplines and the project BIM team, ensuring efficient and safe sequencing of installations.
Provide technical guidance to subcontracted staff, ensuring compliance with site and project requirements, including health and safety obligations, in collaboration with the construction team.
Develop method statements and risk assessments for construction activities, and maintain up-to-date document control for effective log management.
Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
5+ Years experience in a similar role.
Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
Good IT skills, particularly in Auto CAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
