Associate - Liability Defence

Kennedys is looking for an Associate to work in our busy Liability team based in Dublin.
You will contribute towards an interesting and varied liability caseload, including EL/PL, defamation, catastrophic injury, fatal accident, motor and product liability cases.
With support from senior lawyers, you will be required to run your own case load, including interacting with clients, attending settlement talks and running cases to trial.
There will also be opportunities for developing client relationships and career progression within an expanding market leading team.
Team
Kennedys' liability team provides strategic advice on the defence and management of claims through the litigation process with particular expertise high value public and employer liability claims, product liability claims, catastrophic injury claims, and property damage / subrogation claims.
The team adopts a hybrid working structure, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Learning and Development is key focus of the team ensuring that every member has the opportunity to develop both their technical and professional skills, in a collaborative and collegiate environment.

Multi-national and large domestic self-insureds Required Experience 2+ years' Qualified Solicitor with defendant liability experience*
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills
Exceptional attention to detail.
