Role
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management and oversight of the company's financial operations and processes.
The Financial Controller will be tasked with maintaining and developing financial systems and procedures, creating company-wide financial models and reports, overseeing, and managing the accounting staff and coordinating external audit activities with the company's external auditors.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally having previous experience working in a Group Management Accounting function.
ACCA/ACA Qualified is preferred, open to Part-Qualified Accounts with relevant experience.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
Polished communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
Ability to work on-site in our office on the Clonskeagh Road, Rathmines, Dublin 6.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day accounting, cash flow, budgeting and financial management of the company.
Preparation of By-Monthly Group Consolidated Management Accounts with full analysis and commentary on performance.
Developing and maintaining effective accounting systems and procedures.
Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal controls.
Group Budgeting and Cashflow Forecasting.
Coordinating the preparation of the annual audit.
Evaluating, recommending and implementing effective financial controls.
Providing training, direction and support to accounting staff.
Banking activities, including approving/initiating wire transfers and reconciliations.
Maintaining documentation of all financial transactions.
Coordinating and monitoring the financial activities of subsidiaries.
Monitoring and reporting on group cash flow.
Developing strategies for risk minimization and asset protection.
Managing outsourced functions e.g. payroll.
Taxation compliance and CRO filings.
