Corporate catering firm seeks sales dynamo, ideally with proven experience selling workplace dining solutions This well-established, Irish catering company is a specialist in workplace restaurant catering, with clients across a wide range of industries.
They now seek a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to make a direct impact on the companys continued growth.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities: Lead generation & outreach: Target and engage prospective clients using digital and traditional sales and marketing techniques.
Sales cycle management: Identify and nurture prospective clients, develop relationships, present tailored proposals, manage negotiations and close deals.
Client relationship building: Function as primary contact for new accounts, building trust, working with the operations team to ensure the delivery of outstanding service.
Market insights: Track corporate catering trends, competitor offerings, pricing and service innovations Meet/exceed targets: Deliver monthly/quarterly metrics against KPIsnew accounts, revenue, average contract value, number of leads vs. closed deals.
Liaise with Marketing: Segmenting, positioning and communicating digitally and traditionally including case studies, company USPs, catering solutions available.
Market Knowledge: A full understanding of the competitor position for prospective clients, ensuring up-to-date information is available on all key competitors.
The ideal candidate: Minimum 3 years experience in B2B sales within workplace catering or hospitality Proven history in meeting/exceeding sales targets in a proactive role Self-starter mindsetcomfortable prospecting and closing with minimal supervision Ability to develop compelling, innovative and realistic commercial solutions and first-rate proposals Experience pitching to and communicating with senior stakeholders Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Willingness to travel throughout Dublin and the rest of Ireland as required High of level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM (e.g., HubSpot) Flexibility to assist with occasional events (e.g., new client launches, breakfasts, lunches, corporate functions) Understanding and interest in food & beverage operations and business finances Whats on offer: Performance bonus Employee benefits package product and service discounts Fully expensed client meetings, food tastings, and event showcases Collaborative, vibrant team culture with regular training and team-building events If you're a motivated and proven sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment, this could be your next career move
