Building Services EngineerLocation: Lilly Kinsale, CorkContract: Full-time | Permanent PositionSalary: €70,000 + Exceptional Sodexo BenefitsHealth Insurance Allowance - €1,700 annual health insurance allowance.Performance Recognition – Functional bonus.Wellbeing Support – Employee Assistance Programme, unlimited resources, and a free health app with 24/7 virtual GP.Lifestyle Perks – Hundreds of discounts via our Sodexo Reward Hub.Career Progression – Clear pathways for advancement in a global organisationSodexo is looking for an experienced and driven Building Services Engineer to take the helm at our flagship site in Kinsale, Ireland – a thriving, large-scale campus with 50+ buildings, 1,400+ clients, and over 100 Sodexo team members working alongside specialist contractors.With the site in a major growth phase, this is your chance to lead within a complex, high-performance, and tightly regulated environment, ensuring world-class standards are met every single day.Your ImpactAs our Building Services Engineer, you'll:Own site-wide technical performance – delivering excellence in safety, compliance, and operational standards.Supporting a team of 8+ skilled technical staff.Manage key systems including BMS, Maximo, GMARS (or similar).
Champion GMP compliance and the highest HSE standards.Drive efficiency with KPI monitoring and continuous improvement projects.Demonstrate attention to documentation and reporting.Build trusted partnerships with our client and key on-site stakeholders.Use CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) to schedule and track maintenance tasks.Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance of building systems.Recommend upgrades like LED lighting or energy-efficient HVAC systems.Monitor energy usage and optimise system performance to reduce costs and environmental impact.Ensure all systems and equipment are compliant with Irish regulations and standards.What You BringWe're looking for an engineer who is:Has proven experience working in technical services in a regulated environment.Experienced in supervising technical teams (2+ years in people management).
Skilled in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred).
