are currently seeking a versatile
Senior Events Manager
to join our dynamic and expanding media business.
As part of our growing projects, publishing and events portfolio, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and contribute to the overall success of the Business Post Group family of brands.
This role requires an experienced, proactive and passionate individual who can oversee the development, production and delivery of a portfolio of conferences, awards and exhibitions from proposal to execution.
Location: Dublin, Ireland.
You will manage a personal portfolio ensuring timelines, budgets and priorities are communicated, maintained and met.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delegates, speakers, suppliers and other stakeholders will be crucial.
Additionally, you will handle administrative functions, generate weekly reports for enhanced efficiency and collaborate with external stakeholders such as suppliers, venues, AV, and publishing partners.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing partner/sponsor presence across projects, overseeing website management and promotional campaigns for your portfolio and supporting sales and business development through research, outreach and lead generation campaigns.
Responsibilities
Oversee the development, production and delivery of a portfolio of conferences, awards and exhibitions from proposal to execution.
Manage a personal portfolio ensuring timelines, budgets and priorities are communicated, maintained and met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delegates, speakers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Handle administrative functions, generate weekly reports for enhanced efficiency, and collaborate with external stakeholders (suppliers, venues, AV, publishing partners).
Manage partner/sponsor presence across projects; oversee website management and promotional campaigns for your portfolio.
Support sales and business development through research, outreach and lead generation campaigns.
Qualifications
Third-level qualification in Project Management, Business, Events Marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management or freelance events role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Efficiency in using email marketing platforms, Canva and WordPress.
Strong team-working skills.
