Job description Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in plant maintenance and large-scale improvement projects.
This is a full time permanent role based in Limerick.

Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining plant operations and driving improvement projects.
Main responsibilities include:Working as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team;Taking responsibility for a specific plant process area;Overseeing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules;Planning and coordinating major plant shutdowns and overhauls;Managing contractors on assigned projects;Troubleshooting issues to improve plant availability and performance;Ensuring continuous improvement of safety and environmental standards;Scoping, installing, and commissioning large-scale plant improvement projects.

Criteria:Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline);Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within heavy industry;Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices;Proven technical expertise with strong commercial awareness;Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD;Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
