We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Consultant with a proven track record in fintech environments to join our team.
This is a contractor role with an initial duration of 8 months extendable up to 24 months based on project requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD processes, system monitoring, and database queries, coupled with a passion for innovation and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Responsibilities Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance ofcloud-based solutions usingPCF andAWS platforms in a fintech setting.
Build and maintain advancedCI/CD pipelines with tools such asJenkins,Forge, andXLR.
Configure, manage, and optimizemessaging platforms likeKafka andNATS to enable seamless data transactions.
Monitor, analyze, and improve system performance using tools likeDynatrace andSplunk, ensuring reliability in a regulated fintech environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.
Develop and optimizedatabase queries forPostgres,Cassandra, andOracle, ensuring high availability and data accuracy.
Provide strategic insights and technical leadership to ensure alignment with fintech compliance and operational standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the fintech sector to enhance system capabilities.
Demonstrate a proactive and motivated approach, thriving in dynamic environments with complex challenges.
Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system operations, or related fields.
Extensive expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., PCF, AWS) with fintech-specific implementations.
Proficiency inCI/CD tools likeJenkins,Forge, andXLR for regulated environments.
Strong experience withmessaging platforms such asKafka andNATS.
In-depth knowledge ofmonitoring tools, includingDynatrace andSplunk.
Advanced skills in writing and optimizingdatabase queries forPostgres,Cassandra, andOracle databases.
Proven experience infintech projects, understanding of financial systems, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Ability to thrive in adynamic, project-driven fintech environment with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in consulting roles or large-scale enterprise fintech environments.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and efficiency.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Understanding of financial data security, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
