Our client works directly with young people in a residential care setting, aiming to provide the highest quality of care to service users, whilst delivering a stable and engaging workplace for its employees.We are currently recruiting for a Residential Social Care Manager who will be managing two residential services supporting young people, based in Greystones, Wicklow.This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday with on call.To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:· QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies, Social Care or equivalent· A management qualification in Health/Social Care or be in the process of obtaining this qualification.
· Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory/management capacity· An ability to make sound judgments and decisions based on current legislation, best practice and individual circumstances.
· An ability to assess situations and act appropriately and use analytical and problem-solving processes that best meet the needs of the service and those we support.
· A strong knowledge of the HIQA regulations and standards and all relevant legislation.
