Site Engineer

We are hiring a Site Engineer for a major educational build project, with a Tier 1 contractor in Limerick.This role offers the chance to work on large-scale projects while developing your skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities Set out works and ensure foremen and operatives understand drawings and specifications.
Communicate requirements clearly to subcontractors and teams to ensure work is executed correctly.
Test materials according to specifications and monitor compliance.
Record daily activities, progress, and site occurrences in the site diary.
Report on subcontractor work progress to management.
Conduct work safely and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Maintain professional relationships with all site personnel.
Monitor and maintain setting out instruments and testing equipment.
Maximise efficiency and minimise rework through accuracy and self-management.
Attend site meetings and follow management directions.
Requirements Third-level qualification in Engineering.
Minimum 2 years experience in setting out or site engineering.
Experience with main contractors, subcontractors, or surveying firms preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, or similar software.
