The Role
We are seeking a
Line Manager
who will support and lead a department and team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.
Reporting to the Deputy Manager, this role ensures we serve Ireland's shoppers a little better every day.
Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
Be responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are absent
Ensure team members are fully trained and validated in their roles
Foster two-way communication and a culture of trust
Coach and manage colleagues to meet daily priorities and customer needs
Review reports and systems to implement improvements for customers and colleagues
Promote a culture of zero food waste, managing date codes and food safety
Recruit passionate colleagues who prioritize customer service
Understand and deliver cleaning standards through leadership by example
Manage stock control, warehouse layout, and routines for first-time accuracy
Address pricing issues, overcharges, refunds, and labeling routines to ensure correct charges
Manage front-end operations to prevent queues
Recognize and give feedback on excellent service and address poor service
Key Skills and Experience
Candidates should demonstrate:
A passion for delivering excellent service for customers and colleagues
Adaptability and agility in thinking
Ability to deliver objectives in a fast-paced environment
Being the go-to person for department queries
Influencing at senior levels
Previous retail experience in a similar role (preferred)
