Job Title: Sales Assistant Location: SuperValu, Kilkenny.
Main Purpose of the Role: To merchandise, rotate, and present stock in the assigned department while ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are maintained to the highest level.
Key Responsibilities: Actively uphold SuperValus brand values: Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative, and Imaginative.
Merchandise and present products throughout the store, maintaining an exceptional standard.
Process and manage orders across various departments.
Collaborate with the Store Manager on layout changes, ensuring they are correctly implemented.
Follow correct procedures for product labelling, stock rotation, and inventory.
Receive and verify deliveries in line with goods-in procedures.
Maintain a tidy and organized back-store, ensuring items are safely packed away.
Ideal Candidate: Excellent communication skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable.
Able to use initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
