Location: Dublin City Centre Compensation: DOE plus 25 days + 2 company days AL, pension and health Hybrid: Yes Job type: Full-time, permanent We are currently recruiting for an In-House Legal Counsel on behalf of a prominent financial services firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a background in financial services to work closely with, and report directly to, the Head of Legal.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver proactive, strategic legal guidance across all business functions Work in close partnership with the Head of Legal, providing direct reporting and collaboration Manage company secretarial responsibilities, including preparing board materials and handling regulatory communications Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and transactional agreements Coordinate with and supervise external counsel, overseeing litigation and dispute resolution matters Advice on consumer protection regulations and policyholder entitlements Develop and refine policy documentation, including terms and conditions Partner with compliance and risk departments to address regulatory obligations Provide legal input on new product initiatives and legislative changes Ensure adherence to GDPR, AML, and KYC requirements Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Skills: Qualified Solicitor 1-3 PQE Expertise in GDPR and data privacy compliance Knowledge of Irish and EU financial regulation Insurance experience Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
