Saint John of God Community Services Liffey Services supports individuals with intellectual disabilities to be active participants within the community that they live.
St John of God Liffey Services invites applications for the post of Social Care Leader for our Early Services based in the Dublin South-West area to provide support to individuals with an intellectual disability.
Social Care Leader (PIC) - Early Services Permanent - Full Time Applications are invited for the position of Social Care Leader who will have responsibility for coordinating and leading the continued provision and development of meaningful, person-centered services/ supports and opportunities for Children with intellectual disabilities who avail of our Early services in the Dublin South - West area (Tallaght and Cork St).
The successful candidates will have: A relevant 3 rd level qualification in the area of Childcare, Nursing, Health or Social Care is essential.
A qualification in Management and Supervisory experience is required.
Have at least 5 years' experience in children's or social care services of which 2 years should be in the speciality of Intellectual Disability A good knowledge of child development Excellent knowledge and understanding of Tusla and relevant legislation.
Experience of working and delivering person centred services to Children with intellectual disabilities.
Demonstrate evidence of continued commitment to professional development.
