Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: €45 K-€65 DOE Role: Were seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead sustainable building services projects with one of the worlds leading consultancies.
Youll lead project delivery, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in mechanical design across commercial, healthcare, education, and other key sectors.
Responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical building services projects Develop innovative, sustainable solutions incorporating net-zero carbon principles Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering professional development within the team Oversee contractor coordination, site works, and commissioning of installations Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations (including BCAR) and relevant standards Requirements: 3+ years mechanical design experience within a consultancy environment Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it) Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and building services design standards Proven ability to deliver innovative and technically excellent solutions Experience managing contractors and overseeing site installations Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills Benefits: €45 K-€65 DOE Flexible working schemes & wellness programmes Private health insurance & Employee Assistance Programme 23 days annual leave (rising with service) + 11 public holidays Diversity, inclusion, and equality embedded into the workplace culture Global mobility opportunities with international offices and projects Interested?
