Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.
The duration of this post is 6 months initially with likely extensions thereafter.
Location is Flexible, Hybrid Working will apply (must be able to attend client sites when required).
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €44.60 per hour based on an annualised salary of €81,444.
You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Role & Responsibilities Implement robust project management methodologies and processes to enable successful delivery of the Community Connect programme Ensure the Community Connect programme is delivered in a cohesive and planned manner successfully managing priorities across multiple workstreams & other competing demands Ensure work programme work is co-ordinated and integrated as appropriate Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource plans Report on progress against expected plans and escalates as appropriate where deviation exists Manage project scope, cost, timelines, quality, risks, benefits & change requirements where appropriate Prepare clear concise, accurate reports backed up by sufficient reliable documentary evidence Risk Management; identifying, assessing and prioritising risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, risk owners, risk tolerances, risk budgets etc and escalating where appropriate Represent Community Connect programme on committees, groups, meetings etc as required Facilitate collaboration between clinical, vendor, technical and programme teams Develop and manage programme management standards including agreed methodologies, templates and tools e.g. RAID Template, Reporting Templates and ensure application of these standards Develop and adhere to agreed Governance structures and programme assurance standards Skills & Experience: Demonstrate a track record of 2+ years successfully managing the delivery of large scale digital transformative project(s) within a medium - large scale organisation, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Demonstrate significant experience of project planning, project documentation, project reporting, RAID and RACI management Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) or similar project management tools PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM or equivalent certification is highly desirable Experience of communication and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders must be clearly demonstrated Business Competencies: Coordinate and lead the project team in a complex environment with significant change management challenges Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present information in a confident, logical and convincing manner A capacity to influence and negotiate ensuring delivery on stretched objectives An ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects is maximised Understanding of strategy and an ability to operationalise a strategic vision Ability to work with the other technical, service, project and programme teams to ensure that projects are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner Demonstrates evidence of operational management skills including managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available, and presenting work prioritisation assessments where necessary Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change & business process re-organisation skills Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated environments Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer *This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role* Skills: Project Management PMP PM Scrum Prince2 Benefits: Accrue 30 days AL per year
