Job Description:
Support the management team in all aspects of store operation while gaining experience in different departments.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be:
1 year experience in retail industry (desirable)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Experience balancing cash/tills (desirable)
Experience with fresh food
Excellent communication skills
Good delegation skills
Highly driven with a strong work ethic
Commerciality and brand awareness
Passion for grocery retail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Main Duties:
Actively uphold Centra brand values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, Community-Based
Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets on KPIs such as gross profit, net margin, waste, etc.
Participate in training, development, and performance assessments
Maintain high standards of store presentation in line with planograms
Implement planograms and ensure correct stock range
Manage supply procedures including ordering, delivery, stock rotation, and control
Manage assigned departments
Engage with new initiatives and adapt to new working methods
