Our client is a large, well-established Irish corporate with a long history of growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
The group continues to actively pursue investment opportunities in adjacent sectors.

This newly created role will work closely with the senior leadership team.
Who should apply?
This role will suit individuals with the following background:
Qualified accountant with strong M&A experience
8+ years' experience ideally in a Big 4 Corporate Finance team at Associate Director or Director level
Strong financial modelling skills and commercial acumen
Exposure to both buy and sell-side M&A projects
Role and Reporting Lines
This is a newly created role will involve:
M&A Execution
– Lead on buy-side and sell-side M&A activity from screening through to completion
Financial Modelling
– Build robust financial models to support investment decisions and valuations
Strategic Analysis
– Evaluate investment opportunities and present findings to senior stakeholders
Due Diligence
– Manage due diligence processes with external advisors and internal teams
Transaction Support
– Support deal structuring, negotiations and legal documentation
Market Research
– Conduct market and sector analysis to identify potential targets
Board Interaction
– Prepare reports and presentations for board-level consideration
Funding Strategy
– Assess equity and debt funding options to support investment activity
