Driver/Counter Sales Assistant

Our Heat Merchants branch in Navan, Co Meath currently have an opportunity for a Driver/Counter Sales Assistant to join the team.
Your primary role will be to deliver our products to our customers.
You will also be required to assist on the Trade Counter as and when needed.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Delivering our products on time to our customers in the Navan and surrounding areas
Keep customers updated on orders and deliveries
Monitoring customer orders and deliveries
Assist with unloading deliveries and putting stock into its correct locations
Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter
Offer alternative products, up-sell where possible, promote own brands and cross brand sales
Understand customer's expectations and needs
Stay updated with product knowledge
Adhere to health, safety and environment rules and regulations
Any other reasonable duties which may arise

Person Specification
The following criteria will be used in the selection process.

Previous customer facing experience in a trade environment or similar
Must be extremely customer focused and results driven
Flexible approach to work
Full clean valid driver's license
Computer proficiency
Previous experience within the Heating/Plumbing industry

Manual handling tasks must be performed within individual comfort levels—no one is expected to lift anything they are not comfortable carrying.
