Akeso Healthsearch is a leading nursing and healthcare recruitment agency.
We work in partnership with both public and private hospitals, as well as in semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare, residential services, and practice nursing.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join a care of the elderly facility located in Dublin.
Key responsibilities
- Adhere to and follow the hiqa guidelines.
- Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all patient care needs.
- Drive continuous quality improvement by monitoring patient outcomes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Must have a driver's license.
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development.
