Fitzpatricks Garage, established in 1951, hold franchises for Hyundai, Honda, Opel and Mercedes-Benz and are authorised repairers for Toyota and Lexus. SIMI Aftersales Dealer finalists for 2019, 2020 and SEAI Electric Vehicle Dealership of the Year 2022 are currently recruiting Motor Technicians for our Service Department based in Fitzpatricks Garage Kildare town to work in our modern, well equipped workshop. Responsibilities will include; Dealing with customers, management, staff in a courteous and professional manner Diagnose, repair and service vehicles as required Carry out all work to the highest standards in accordance with dealership & manufacturer’s standards Keeping updated with technical product information Maintain a clean, orderly workplace, adhering to all company policies, procedures & safety standards Road testing, and quality control checks as required The successful candidates will have; Minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience ideally working with one of our main franchises i.e. Hyundai, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Mercedes-Benz Experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, engine overhaul, diagnostics and electronics Be highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative Ability to clearly communicate, to ensure the smooth & efficient flow of work Be efficient and be capable of producing high quality work consistently Full, clean driving licence A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate including a bonus incentive scheme.
