Basic Grade Radiographer - Dublin, Ireland

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate CORU Registered Radiographer to join our flexible team.

Role Overview: As a CORU Registered Radiographer with HSE Hospitals, you will be an integral part of the Radiology Department. Your expertise in diagnostic imaging will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound examinations, with precision and care.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict protocols and safety standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and stay abreast of advancements in radiography technology and techniques.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and radiography students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

  • CORU registration as a Radiographer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong technical skills in various imaging modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
