Cluster Revenue Manager - The Hardiman and The House Hotel


If you are passionate about revenue strategy and driven to succeed, we are looking for you to join our team.  As Cluster Revenue Manager you will take a proactive approach to driving revenue management activity to achieve budgeted sales targets for two iconic Galway hotels; The Hardiman, a landmark overlooking Eyre Square, and The House Hotel, a cosy boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter. The Hardiman and The House Hotel are part of Choice Hotel Group, a progressive Irish-owned hotel group.

The role:

  • You will be responsible for managing the revenue strategy with a best practice approach for our 150+ rooms across two Galway properties, working closely with key management stakeholders at hotel management, sales and reservations levels.
  • You will have experience in the identification of revenue channels with will maximise occupancy and revenue yields for the business in a well defined weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue strategy.
  • You will actively manage our hotel price rate strategy to ensure that our offerings are competitive and compelling for prospective customer.
  • You will have well defined strengths across revenue accounting processes, reporting skills and data analysis.
  • You will produce recommendations on an ongoing basis to improve our long terms strategies, observing and interpreting market influences, booking trends and consumer behaviour.
  • You will ensure effective management of rates and inventory on all distribution channels in a hands-on way, ensuring our rate parity is maintained at all times.
  • You will foster and maintain loyal relationships with all OTA's Account Manager and ensure maximisation of the rankings.
  • You will collaborate closely with our Reservations and Digital functions to ensure that our online booking processes are fully functional and user-friendly at all times, for both hotel properties.
  • You will ensure that our relationship with corporate clients is such that their booking experience is professional and seamless, and they receive excellent customer service for all queries.
  • You will lead on all matters regarding all third party distribution for both hotels.
  • You will foster and develop relevant wider team members to adopt a revenue growth mindset in how we conduct every aspect of our business.
