We are currently seeking a Maintenance Operative to join the team at Farnham Estate. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, The Maintenance Person will work as part of a team to maintain the guest bedrooms, public areas, back corridors and staff areas.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Use Samfex to coordinate with other departments allowing them to manage their daily workload.
  • Ensure that all jobs are carried-out in accordance with hotel, national standards and guidelines, and the hotel's business plan.
  • Have a proven track record to carry out routine maintenance tasks as well as preventative maintenance tasks to a high specification    
  • Have the ability to operate well under pressure, multitask and carry out duties to the highest possible standard in a busy environment       
  • Have the ability to work alone when required as well as part of a team

 

Requirements:

  • Have excellent attention to detail and be computer literate
  • Have excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Be flexible in relation to working hours both mid-week and weekend
  • Have at least one year's previous experience in a maintenance role


Desirable:

  • Previous maintenance plumbing experience    
  • Previous experience in tiling and painting duties      
  • Previous working knowledge of Samfex software advantageous
