Join our team as Production & Logistics Specialist . Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Production & Logistics Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of Production and support Logistics activities. Their key responsibility is to lead the production area ensuring that Materials are produced and kitted just in time to support Customer sales orders shipping from Siemens DISW Operations Centre in Shannon. They will also support the shipment of Customer Sales orders.
What are my responsibilities?
Running MRP reports to resolve demand, Inventory transacting CD/DVD replication, Printing and assembly of all associated documentation and S/W kit Assembly Picking & packing/processing of Production Orders according to industry standard practices Incoming receiving processes and associated industry standard procedures and practices Warehouse management in accordance with SOP’s Processing and Shipping of Customer Billing invoices Creating and Printing of Business Cards Manufacturing engineering back-up: Train & be a competent back-up for this roleWhat are my requirements?
3 years’ experience Production/Logistics Proficiency in the MS Office suite of tools and in Microsoft Outlook Knowledge of SAP Team oriented individual with a ‘can do’ attitude, able to communicate efficiently at all levels and handle concurrent activities High levels of self-motivation and discipline, dedication to continuous improvement and high-quality assurance standards Be able to work on own initiative in a high pressurized dynamic environment. Excellent attention to detail Have good inter-personal skills and able to deal collaboratively with internal/external parties Knowledge of industry standard health and safety/manual handling procedures Must be prepared to accommodate a flexible working hour’s environment and late/evening shift particularly at quarter end, ensuring that at crunch times partners in other time zones have easy access to supportWhat will be an advantage?
