We are seeking a proactive and dynamic HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team, reporting to the HR Business Partner (HRBP). The HR Generalist is responsible for enhancing employee engagement through innovative initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing comprehensive support across various HR functions. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
This position is temporary to cover maternity leave for a duration of 10 months.
What you will do
Serve as a point of contact for all employee queries Develop and implement annual employee engagement plans to foster a positive workplace culture Stay current with employment laws, ensuring company compliance, and regularly update policies and procedures accordingly Proactively identify areas for policy and procedure enhancements Develop and propose solutions for continuous improvement in HR practices Design and implement HR training sessions for managers Monitor employee absenteeism and report issues to the HRBP Support the HRBP in compiling and analyzing HR metrics Assist in the full recruitment cycle Collaborate with the finance team for payroll preparation Ensure all employee records, including visas, are accurate and up to date Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategySkills required
Minimum of 3 -5 years of HR experience, with a strong background in employment law. Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Ability to work independently and proactively Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsNice to have
Familiarity with Workday Experience in designing and delivering training programsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field
