The Bar Supervisor is an important position working closely with the Operations Manager & Bar Manager.

 


About Us

The Fleet Hotel is a wonderful boutique style Hotel located in the centre of Dublin on the edge of Temple Bar. It comprises of some beautiful period buildings including the iconic Bewleys Cafe, much loved by Dubliner's for decades. The Fleet Hotel is synonymous with local Dublin history, before becoming the Fleet Hotel, 19/20 Fleet Street was home to Bewley's Cafe which was established by Ernest Bewley in 1905. Bewleys were known to be one of the finest Tea Houses in Europe and a favourite with Dubliner's for generations.


Role/Responsibilities


The successful candidate holds a key position within the Hotel, responsible for aiding in the day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a professional attitude.


Position Title: Bar Supervisor


Job Summary: The Bar Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of the bar's operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience, maximise profitability, and maintain high standards of service. This role involves supervising staff, overseeing inventory and stock control, aiding customer relations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


Responsibilities:


Staff Management:

  • Train and supervise bar staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to enhance performance.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by greeting patrons, resolving complaints, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the bar.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements as needed.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee bar opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and till reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Aid in Implementing and maintaining procedures for cleanliness and organization.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Work with the management team to develop promotions and marketing strategies to drive sales.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Upsell products and promote specials to maximize revenue.



Requirements

 

   The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 years' experience as a Supervisor or Senior F&B Assistant in a 4* hotel setting
