Social Care Manager

Responsibilities
- To guarantee that the resident and the care team receive the most benefit possible from the social session scheduling.
- To manage and exercise leadership over the personnel group.
- To enable residents to enjoy as full and active a life as possible, we must support them in participating in worthwhile activities while upholding their independence, dignity, and freedom of choice.
- Should have discussions with each resident to determine their needs for socialization and recreation based on their preferences, skills, and likes and dislikes.
- To create a monthly schedule of events and activities and make sure every resident is informed.
- To routinely evaluate the program's social events and activities for efficacy.
- To contribute significantly as a vital component of the interdisciplinary team by giving input on each resident's participation and status
Requirements
- The following fields require a third-level qualification from candidates: Allied Health Professions, Social Care, Education and Training, Intellectual Disability Nursing, or a similar subject.
- Post-qualification experience working in social care resources.
- A minimum of two years' worth of management or leadership experience.
- Proven track record of taking on new duties, organizing initiatives, and overseeing allocated obligations in your existing position.
