RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a Nursing Home in Co Clare, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Putting established rehabilitation procedures into practice and tracking resident results with approved evaluation instruments and rehabilitation outcome metrics.
- Collaborating in every area with every member of the multidisciplinary team to guarantee that standards are upheld. Determine any potential problem areas and work with the director of nursing to implement quality improvement programs.
- Oversee nursing staff compliance and medication administration.
- Together with the director of nursing, take part in staff nurse and care assistant performance reviews and training.
- Collaborate with Care Assistants to make sure they deliver excellent direct care and treat the residents with professionalism and compassion.
- In charge of conducting risk assessments, pharmaceutical audits, health and safety audits, and risk management
Requirements
- BSc in General Nursing or equivalent
- Dementia experience is desirable
- Previous managerial training / experience is an advantage
- Registered on the NMBI live register
- Excellent Leadership, Organizational and Communication skills
- Strong decision-making ability
- Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative
- Ability to work well and promote a team environment
