We are currently seeking a skilled, experienced Staff Nurse to join our Nursing Team and contribute to delivering high standards of care to our residents in Co Clare.
Our ethos is to create a home from home for our clients, where they can live life to the full with support and respect, whilst enjoying building relationships with all our staff.
We pride ourselves on having the most passionate Nursing Team in the industry delivering the highest standard of quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that residents receive the best possible care.
- Supporting the daily administration and functioning of the home in accordance with the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland and the Health Act of 2007.
- Represent the nursing home always and act in the residents' and the facility's best interests.
- Possess a strong sense of self-motivation and a drive to collaborate with others in order to create better care models for the home.
- Take the initiative to look for ways to improve and welcome change.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience after graduation
- A post-registration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline
- A thorough understanding of HIQA standards
- Have an NMBI registration or be eligible for one.
- Proof that professional progress is ongoing.
- Proven writing and vocal communication skills, along with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Has the clinical, administrative, and leadership skills necessary to carry out the duties of the position effectively.
- The capacity to operate independently
