Duty Manager- Wards Team

Ideal Candidate must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a management or team lead level in a healthcare facility or hospitality environment.
- Must be competent, fast, and reliable, ability to work on their own initiative and be part of a wider team.
- Experience in people management.
- Experience with Aramark systems would be of benefit but not essential.
- A proactive and positive work ethic and good communication skills
Overview Responsibilities (full job description available upon request):
Support the Ward Management Team and perform supervisory duties at Pantry Kitchen / Ward Level in the hospital.
Manage shifts when on duty. Covering rosters / service delivery / compliances.
Provide encouragement to Team Members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks are required.
Assist Ward Management Team with new team member training (under the Buddy System).
Answer Team Member questions, help with Team Member problems, and oversees Team Members work for quality compliance, when on duty.
Communicate deadlines and service goals to Team Members in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure Team Members adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
Conduct Team Meetings with the mentor group to update Team Members on best practices and continuing expectations for service at the Pantry Kitchen level.
Share comprehensive and detailed feedback about team performance / service delivery at daily briefings.
Delegate tasks and ensure daily service timelines are met.
Oversee day-to-day operation at Pantry Kitchen level, with Ward Management Team.
