Job Description

         We are hiring a Clinical Specialist Radiographer- Nuclear Medicine in a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

         Responsibilities
  • Clinical Operations: Carry out daily primary responsibility for the Nuclear Medicine service and the efficient use of all allotted resources as a team leader.
  • Take responsibility for the services' caliber, including the technical and customer support components.
  • Participate in the creation and execution of operational rules, procedures, and guidelines to guarantee the best possible use of resources and an organized auditing system for that use. 
  • Participate in creating service plans; oversee and document their execution. As per hospital guidelines, establish and maintain precise information systems for clinical data.
  • When necessary, discuss matters about human resources with the head of radiology.
  • Quality Assurance: Look into complaints, accidents, and occurrences and take appropriate action in compliance with hospital policy.
  • Ensure that staff members comprehend and adhere to all hospital regulations and pertinent information regarding nuclear medicine safety.
  • Ascertain that staff members are aware of and adhering to all hospital policies, including infection control, IV policy, health and safety, etc.
  • As directed by the Medical Physics Expert, establish and maintain a quality assurance program in the Nuclear Medicine department.


Requirements
  • Diagnostic radiography, BSc (Hons) or equivalent.
  • Nuclear medicine postgraduate degree with CORU registration
  • A management course is optional but preferred.
  • A postgraduate degree in the modality with at least three years of experience, or a minimum of six years of experience in the chosen modality.
  • Must have experience managing a group of radiologists.
  • SPECT/CT experience and experience working in Radiopharmacy
  • PET/CT experience is preferred.
