About The Role
As an RF Engineer, the candidate will support the design, deployment and optimisation of our wireless mobile solutions across all areas of our business. The RF Engineer will work in a multi-discipline design team to design solutions that meet customers’ needs. You will lead the system performance testing activities to ensure they adhere to and meet the required standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carry out RF and Design Surveys for inbuilding DAS Perform RF modelling and design using iBWave or other planning tools Review results, drawings and reports conducted by others Design criteria/requirements, system dimensioning, link budget and traffic analysis Complete RAMS and abide by company H&S policy Work with project managers and co-ordinators to deliver projects on time and on budget Liase with customers, presenting designs to clients, stakeholders and project teams Complete any Handover Packs, Post Integration Reports and Design Reports on agreed timescales and report templates Provide estimates on resources required for particular tasks Updating any internal reporting system as required Familiarisation of all company documentation, especially ISO procedures Acting professionally and in the best interests of the company at all times Maintaining good client relations
 

What You’ll Bring

Experience designing indoor coverage solutions including active and passive distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells Knowledge of UK or IE mobile network architecture models and standards Experience of testing methodologies, test tools Advanced knowledge in optimisation and performance optimisation Good knowledge of Radio Link Budgets
