Key Account Manager - Convenience

Location: ROI

Team: Sales

Contract: Permanent

As a Key Account Manager, you will have full responsibility to proactively target new business and manage existing key accounts in your channel.You will be the key single point of contact for your Key Accounts, devising and delivering on strategic initiativesregardingConvenience channel, but also to include management of our full ‘24/7’ portfolio.You will collaborate with internal functions and market insights to achieve customer success. You will report to the Channel Director.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ownership & Management of respective Key Accounts toGross Profit level ; Deliver year on year improvements to your customer satisfaction score via the annual Customer Gauge survey. You will have a clear action plan to improve Customer Satisfaction for each of your Key Accounts and this will be reviewed quarterly. Management of customer price lists and pricing negotiations annually Proactive management and overall accountability for the customer accounts receivable process, with delivery of agreed monthly and annual targets Work cross functionally with the ConvenienceTeam, Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Field Sales to build and understand Key Account plans. Fully accountable for the agreement, management, and delivery of yourKey Account joint business plans (JBP’s).JBP scorecards to be updated monthly and reviewed with your Key Accountsvia a monthly meeting routine.You will attend and present at all Top to Top Meetings for your Key Accounts Sell commercial plans to your Key Accounts in line with Revenue Growth Management (RGM)guidelines Exploitation of Invest promotional management tool and SAP to deliver account profitability Utilisation of customer sales data to provide insights, trends, and financial opportunities both internally and externally through promotional management Ownership of Field Sales execution metrics for your Key Accounts Establish regular cluster review meetings with Field Sales to engage with key retailer groups to drive testimonials and execution in trade Be a coach and mentor to the Field Sales Team who are responsible for your Key Accounts Manage your routines so you can establish time in trade both weekly and monthly with the Field Sales Team and your Key Accounts Proactively seek out new business opportunities within your relevant channel and within your Key Account base e.g. new customers, new category opportunities, new pack opportunities, etc

Essential Criteria

Experience within FMCG sales role with successful performance record Professional manner - articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels ofthe organisation Be obsessively curious to understand the needs of the customer Results orientated, output driven, tenacious and resilient,can-do attitude with a strong desire to make things happen, entrepreneurial and self- motivating Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills IT literate with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint and a working knowledge of SAP Full, unrestricted driving licence

Desired Criteria

Educational qualification to third level in a business’ related discipline.

Direct experience managing a Key Account customer base. Ability to optimise results by managing mutual ‘win - win’ solutions and achieving overall long-term customer relationships.

Experience of Managing Key Accounts in a Fully SAP integrated environment.
