Front of House Manager

We are currently seeking expressions of interest
for a Front of House Manager to join the senior management team at Ireland’s
first Five star Forbes hotel, Ashford Castle. This is a wonderful opportunity
for an aspiring candidate to join a team of passionate and skilled hoteliers.

We are looking for a candidate who is immaculately
presented, engages well with our guests and who can lead the Front of House
team effectively with ability. The candidate must be someone who exudes a
passion for hospitality and shows genuine care for their team and our guests.

Key responsibilities of the Front of House Manager
will include:

Oversee the effective operations
of our Front of House Division – Reception, Concierge, Night Auditors, Day
Porters and Estate.

·              
Mentoring and coaching is a key
skill required to achieve peak performance.

·              
Demonstrates strong leadership.

·              
Demonstrates inspirational
leadership, moving the division forward, keeping abreast with changes within
the luxury 5 star market.

·              
Ensure Forbes 5 star standards
are upheld.

·              
Have a sharp business acumen,
understanding finances.

The ideal candidate for the Front of House Manager
position should:

Have luxury 5 star experience in a similar role

·          
·        
Minimum of 4 years working within the 5 star luxury market

·          
·        
Ability to handle pressurised situations whilst all the time understand the
expectations of our discerning guests.

·          
·        
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, having a natural warm and
engaging personality.

·          
·        
Previous experience using Opera is desirable.

·          
·       
 A degree in Hospitality is desirable.
