Job Description

Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's European Digital team requires an IT Programme Manager to join the team in Ireland.

The role is varied, and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, experience engaging with project stakeholders, and the ability to work independently. An organised and systematic approach to work is a must, as well as in-depth experience running IT Programmes covering both business as ususal and project activities.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Provide governance and oversight: Create and maintain governance frameworks to ensure the successful and robust delivery of IT services.
  • Lead IT Projects: Identify emerging projects, supporting stakeholders in developing a comprehensive scope, plan, and resourcing timeline to ensure the effective delivery of ongoing and new IT projects.
  • Support project managers: lead a team of project managers to deliver IT infrastructure and software projects.
  • Manage Risks: Identify risks at a programme level and proactively take steps to engage stakeholders and mitigates risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with senior stakeholders at the client to ensure they are engaged and supporting all IT initiatives.
  • Helpdesk monitoring: Monitor the IT helpdesk at the client, ensuring the effective delivery of IT support to the organisation.

 


Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience managing information technology projects.
  • Agile, Waterfall & PRINCE project management
  • Highly experienced at IT programme management.
  • Experienced at setting up and running programme governance frameworks.
  • Experienced at risk, stakeholder and change management.
  • Experienced at creating IT strategy and implementation plans.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills and presentation skills, with an eye for detail.
