OptumRx is looking for a curious and self-motivated individual to identify and develop strategies that leverage the full breadth of Optum assets to solve healthcare’s biggest challenges in the area of pharmacy services.This role will be responsible for understanding the needs of industry partners and developing business solutions using the data and capabilities of Optum.We are looking for people that can collaborate with business partners, anticipate future industry needs, and have strong financial acumen.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts.
• Acts as outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) and large or complex accounts.
• Builds relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day-today service delivery.
• Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs.
• Work closely with sales on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales.
• Focused primarily on relationship and service management
o Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
• Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.
o Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions.
o Performs complex conceptual analyses.
o Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement.
o Forecasts and plans resource requirements
• Authorizes deviations from standards.
o May lead functional or segment teams or projects.
o Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.
o Motivates and inspires other team members

Required Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment to deliver financial goals
• Understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals industry or healthcare industry
• Account Management Experience
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
