The Role & What You Will Be Doing

As the Program Manager for our Device Technical Operations, you will oversee the remediation of a suite of products through our design control process and into lifecycle management. The Program Manager is responsible to the project stakeholders for delivering a project’s objectives within scope, schedule, cost and quality.

Assume overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.

Lead remediation projects into post-market transfer across our affiliate and CMO sites while tightly managing the objectives set by the project stakeholders.

Define and clarify project scope while developing and maintaining the project schedule.

Responsible for identifying, communicating, monitoring and appropriately managing project risk and liaise with broader team on addressing issues and resolutions.

Establish priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while using project management tools and techniques to support the delivery of new products.

Support and deliver improvements, typically through leadership, teamwork and project management.

Ownership for managing and reporting project progress.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Science discipline.

2 or more years of experience in a project management role.

Proficiency in working with project management information systems, including Microsoft Project.

Experience of working with external partners (CMOs).

Proven experience in project management, specifically in regulatory compliance or in the medical device industry.

Experience in budget management, project coordination, risk management and cross-functional project responsibility.

Ability to define and effectively manage project risks.

Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Awareness of the principles of Design Control that will apply to your work within the context of ISO 13485 & FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
