As an Azure Cloud Technology Director at Slalom, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through their cloud adoption journey. You will provide advice, technical guidance, and strategic insights to help them achieve their cloud technology goals. Your responsibilities will include assessing current infrastructure, developing cloud migration strategies, and ensuring the successful implementation of cloud solutions.
What you will Do:
Conduct in-depth assessments of client infrastructure, applications, and business processes to identify opportunities for Azure Cloud adoption.Collaborate with clients to develop customised cloud migration and transformation strategies aligned with their business objectives.Lead and support the execution of cloud migration projects, ensuring successful deployment, monitoring, and optimisation.Offer ongoing consultation to clients, helping them navigate complex cloud technology challenges and evolve their cloud strategies as needed.Be a subject matter expert and thought leader on modern technology and domain-specific problems.Manage, provide guidance and empower more junior members on the team.To promote our people first mentality, provide mentorship, career guidance, encourage wellbeing and being an advocate for diversity & Inclusion across our teams.What you bring with you:
Experience in cloud technology consulting, with a proven track record of successful Azure Cloud migrations and implementations.Strong understanding of cloud computing architectures, microservices, containers, and serverless technologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Outstanding communication and client-facing skills with a passion for networking.Hands on experience delivering key initiatives such as technology assessments, well architected reviews, migration acceleration programmes, License optimization assessments etc. Passion for developing, coaching, and leading technology teams with demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.Technically active, inquisitive with the ability to lead multi-layered technology conversations with partners, vendors and team members, while able to distil the concepts for discussion and decision making with non-technical partners.
