Contracts/Projects Engineer

Background

Whitewater is one of the leading suppliers of water purification plants in Ireland, supplying purified water for the Medical, Data Centres, Industry, Municipal and Healthcare sectors. 90 years in business. In the medical sector, we are unique in that not only do they provide state of the art ultrapure water plants for renal dialysis centers. We also provide standard packaged water systems for CSSD, endoscopy suites; laboratory and clinical analyser feed water.

In the water for industry sector, we supply process water solutions for a wide variety of industries including , data centres, dairy, manufacturing, agri-food, medical device companies, microelectronics, food, brewing and beverages, glass making, pet foods, power generation, cosmetics and chemical processing. We also supply systems to create purified water for drinking in both public and private schemes. WFI for Pharma. Customer service is the most important part of our business starting with our initial client contact and extending through construction to commissioning, operator training, customer services and system operation and preventative maintenance, according to our customer needs and specific service contracts. Due to expansion and continued success we wish to appoint a Contracts/Projects Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Role

In this role, you will plan and work on all aspects of the installation of Water Treatment Plants. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work in the areas of water systems and treatment plant evaluation, master planning and project delivery
• Coordinating and adjusting the work effort within the project team to ensure project work is completed on schedule and within allocated budget
• Execution of project design (management of resources within constraints of project budget and schedule), and culminating with management of bid and construction phase engineering service support
• Maintain regular and constructive communication with clientele and project team members.
• Simultaneously managing multiple projects and clients.
• Independently coordinating the work of commissioning engineers and sub-contractors throughout the project's execution
• Compiling post project completion documentation
• Establish and maintain client relations
• Support business development activities

Must have the ability to work alone or as part of a small team with minimum supervision. Be a self-starter with a 'can do' attitude.  Able to handle multiple task requests and prioritise. Be able to work in busy environment in a confident manner.

Based in Ireland with travel to Europe.
