Job Description

On behalf of a boutique property firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant.


Working with a close-knit team, the Accounts Assistant will have a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to;


  • Monthly journal posting including accruals and prepayments.
  • Management and control of a large volume of bank accounts.
  • Bank reconciliation and resolution of queries.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly board and client reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the year-end financial statements.
  • Process all accounts payable invoices in a timely manner.




Requirements
  • Part Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency and experience in processing transactions as part of integrated accounting systems.
  • Key experience in dealing with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong team player, builds relationships and consults with others, quickly establishes trust and credibility.

Requirements
Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university. ACA/ ACCA/CIMA/ CPA qualification with c. 5 years’ post qualified experience. Previous real estate/ property mgmt. industry experience preferred. Candidates with extensive property industry experience, but lacking full ACA/ ACCA qualification, will also be considered. Proficient in the use of accounting software (Yardi experience highly advantageous). Prior experience to a system implementation, highly advantageous. Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisation, good judgement, showing logical decision-making and have a hands-on approach.
