This Role
We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our accounts. This role will be reporting to our Financial Accountant and Financial Controller. The candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the below tasks on a day-to- day basis.
Finance Inbox
- Management of highly active finance inbox with both AP and AR related queries.
- Using system workflows to have invoices authorised for payment and liaising with relevant departments on queries.
Accounts Payable
- Perform the day to day approval and processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Assisting team with processing and inputting authorised supplier costs onto Transport Management System.
- Weekly supplier reconciliations to accounts package and investigating any discrepancies on creditor ledger or that arise through finance inbox.
- Processing company credit card transactions onto accounts package.
Accounts Receivable
- Liaising with customers to ensure payment deadlines are met.
- Monthly/weekly customer statements prepared and delivered to customers.
- Weekly customer reconciliations to accounts package and investigating any discrepancies on debtor ledger or that arise through finance inbox.
Ad-Hoc
- Maintaining company files and documentation thoroughly in accordance with company policy.
- The role will also involve performing general administration duties along with supporting and covering other members of the team.

Candidate Requirements
- Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure at times and to strict deadlines. Ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities.
The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator Assistant with minimum 2/3 years in accounts admin or other AR/AP role.
- Qualified or Part-qualified Accounting Technician Diploma (AITI).
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Time management skills with the competence to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Proficient with MS Office skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage.
- Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment.
- Compatible with the hybrid working model (Office Mon-Wed, WFH Thurs, Fri)
