Job Description

We are looking for a Laundry Assistant/Housekeeper to join us on a part-time basis at the Cashel Palace Hotel . (3 days a week/flexible)

A Palladian manor, in the heart of Ireland, Cashel Palace is a luxury hideaway, meticulously restored and exquisitely reimagined. Spectacularly located by the Rock of Cashel in picturesque Co. Tipperary, the hotel is enveloped in nature and overlooked by ancient history.

Role:

To ensure all hotel linens, towels, and other washable items are cleaned, dried, ironed, folded, and stored to meet the hotel's quality standards. This role supports the housekeeping team in delivering a high level of service to guests.

The Person:

Experience : Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential. Physical Stamina : Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy loads, and work in hot environments. Attention to Detail : Capable of noticing and correcting stains, damages, or other quality issues. Time Management : Ability to work efficiently, manage time well, and complete tasks promptly. Communication Skills : Basic understanding of English or local language for communicating with team members and following instructions.

Working Conditions

Requires working on a shift basis, including weekends and holidays. Physically demanding, involving lifting, bending, and long periods of standing.
