We're on the lookout for an energetic and driven Retail Store Manager to lead our dynamic team at our Longford Red Cow Store

If you have experience managing a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you

As the heartbeat of our store, you'll be the go-to leader, building strong connections with both staff and customers and ensuring our store runs smoothly and successfully in line with the Company Plan.


This is a full-time role with a fantastic salary for the right candidate. Flexibility with working weekdays and weekends is essential. Experience in footwear retail is a big plus


What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Take charge of the store's operations, guiding and motivating your team to smash targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain High Standards: Ensure our store is always ready to trade, with top-notch stock presentation, safety, and loss prevention measures in place.
  • Plan and Prioritize: Effectively plan, delegate, and manage tasks to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Collaborate: Communicate daily with Head Office and Directors to keep everything aligned and on track.
  • Boost Morale: Engage positively with staff at all levels, fostering a supportive and upbeat work environment.
  • Optimize Operations: Manage deliveries, keep the shop floor and storeroom in top shape, and constantly seek new ways to drive footfall and increase profits.
  • Create a Visual Impact: Ensure the store is always visually appealing and merchandised to attract customers.
  • Handle Day-to-Day Tasks: From scheduling to managing leave requests and addressing absenteeism, you'll keep the day-to-day operations in check.
  • Resolve Customer Queries: Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all company policies, procedures, and Health and Safety legislation are fully adhered to.


Who We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of retail store management experience (essential).
  • A full, clean driver's license.
  • A genuine passion for retail and customer service.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure in a busy environment.
  • A professional approach to all aspects of retail management.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • A motivational leader who can inspire their team to achieve high standards.
  • Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Confidence in managing a team with a personable and approachable attitude.
  • Solid employee relations skills and a proven track record in performance management.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
