The Job

Position- Security Officer

Location - Dun Laoghaire : Shopping Mall (Not a retail position, you will be security of the common areas and perimeters. You will be required to patrol the shopping mall and deal with general public enquires.

Shift Pattern- days / evenings / weekends

Salary: €14.50 p/hr plus a site allowance €1 p/hr


Requirements:

 

  • Valid PSA Static Licence
  • 2 years experience in Security
  • Verifiable 5 year Work History
  • Be flexible to days/nights/weekends.
  • Valid GNIB/IRP card if non-EEA National.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Ability to work under own initiative essential.
  • Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.




ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:


  • Holder of Valid Private Security Authority Licence- Static- essential
  • Verifiable 5 year Work History
  • Previous experience as a Security Officer (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Guarding Skills including detailed knowledge of:
  • Patrolling
  • Access Control
  • Searching
  • Security and Emergency Systems
  • Fire
  • Health and Safety
  • Emergencies
  • Customer and Social Skills,
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Possess Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Willingness to Take Instructions from Higher Management Levels
