We are hiring a  Clinical Nurse Specialist, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (CNSp IBD) for a Private Hospital in Dublin , Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are at the center of all we do.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Patients who come to BSD with an IBD diagnosis and need assistance and care throughout the continuum of care should be given specialized nursing care.
  • Utilizing the best evidence-based practices for IBD treatment, do a thorough patient evaluation that covers the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of the patient's care.
  • Utilize the results of the patient assessment to create and carry out care plans and case management in collaboration with the physician, the multidisciplinary team (MDT), the patient, and/or caregiver, as needed.
  • In collaboration with the MDT, the patient, family, and/or caregiver, track and assess the patient's response to therapy and modify the care plan as necessary
  • Accept recommendations from MDT colleagues that make sense.
  • Organize patient follow-up, treatment plans, and investigations.


Requirements
  • Hold NMBI Registeration
  • Successfully completed a post registration programme of study that is relevant to the specialist field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Minimum of 1 years experience working in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
