The Role

 

Within the Elis Trainee Management program, you will have the opportunity to work on four distinct projects over a two-year period based in Ireland with the option to work on one project in one of our Elis centres abroad. Projects will be thematic and could include; Innovation, Process Optimisation, CX. This program is designed to equip you with the skills to become an impactful manager.

 

Engaging in diverse projects allows you to swiftly grasp our business intricacies while fostering both your personal growth and contributing to the overall development of Elis with the support and guidance of a dedicated mentor who will guide and coach your development. On successful completion of the program, you will have a clear understanding of which positions within Elis align with your ambitions and capabilities and subject to availability, a permanent position may be offered.

 

 

The first project you will be responsible for is centered around our Logistics team and implementation of an IT system.

 

Project Responsibilities: Logistics

 

       Independent project management as part of an Ireland-wide software rollout in logistics

       Regular virtual and personal meetings with the regional and international with project team

       Planning the project pipeline, supporting the rollouts and supporting initial user requests after the rollout has been completed

       Carrying out go lives and training sessions with users (especially fleet managers and drivers)

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

As a Trainee, we are looking for someone who is confident and ready to assume responsibility for four key projects over the two year period of the program. To succeed, you will need to be self-reliant and have a strong sense of personal responsibility. Enthusiasm, adaptability coupled with an ability to maintain an overview of tasks and translate insights into practical solutions will be crucial while working within a team, collaborating, engaging and inspiring colleagues and fostering a strong teamwork environment.

 

The Trainee Managers we recruit are strategic, analytical thinkers who see solutions where others see challenges. They come from diverse backgrounds, but usually have a strong educational background, a genuine enthusiasm for how the world works and a love for learning on the job.

 

We require:  

 

       Degree in Business Information, Engineering, data science or Business is preferred

       Proficient in IT systems including Office and enjoy working in systems

       Ability to communicate effectively and a willingness to learn.

       Strong decision making skills and problem-solving skills

       Excellent English language skills both written and oral.

       Valid EU Driver's License
