T he Opportunity

Our client, an innovative growing technology company, is looking for an experienced and solutions-oriented People Business Partner who has a roll up your sleeves attitude, thrives in a busy working environment and is a paramount team player.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this standalone HR role will provide high quality people operations support to the business, partner with stakeholders in key areas of employee engagement, workforce planning, DE&I and offer guidance on employee relations activities. You’ll act as a partner, leveraging your HR expertise to drive operational effectiveness, optimise processes and improve overall performance through effective management of people .

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Work closely with business leaders to address challenges and implement solutions that support the company's strategic objectives.

  • Support, guide and develop People Managers, ensuring they are equipped to effectively lead their teams.

  • Collaborate with People Managers and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to roll out people programs at both team and company levels.

  • Contribute to team/department-wide initiatives or projects to drive positive outcomes for the organisation.

  • Build and maintain trust as a go-to partner for employees, offering support and guidance.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Ownership of the recruitment process.

  • Preparation of contracts of employment for all new hires (both permanent and contractors) ensuring all paperwork is completed appropriately.

  • Managing the employee and contractor onboarding processes and co-ordinating the induction programme with key stakeholders.

  • Manage leavers and ensure all paperwork is completed appropriately.

  • Shepherd managers through the on and off-boarding process.

HR Policies and Processes

  • Leveraging knowledge of HR policies and HR programs to identify gaps or areas for improvement, requiring only limited support in administering HR policies and HR programs.

  • Manage Employee Handbook review & policy updates.

  • Provide up to date employment law advice and support to managers and employees as required.

  • Ensure Managers are compliant with internal policies and ensure that policies are being applied consistently.

  • Deliver training workshops on new or updated HR policies and people processes.

  • Cultivating internal People Ops knowledge hub on Notion, ensuring all information is relevant and up to date.

Applying Expertise and Technology

  • Ensuring all statutory employee licences/visas/work permits are in date and employees are made aware of renewal dates.

  • Promptly and accurately respond to a wide range of employee queries via Freshdesk ticketing system ensuring that the employee experience is second-to-none, while also looking for opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintaining HRIS (Personio), ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

  • Partnering with Finance on monthly payroll processing.

Requirements

  • An appropriate HR Qualification or combination of relevant professional training and experience in lieu of degree accepted.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist with 2 + years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent in a high growth company, ideally in the tech industry .

  • HR experience working with EMEA distributed, work-from-home teams of various sizes.

  • Proven ability to tackle HR projects and initiatives, with minimal supervision.

  • Extremely organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proactive problem solver and disciplined self-starter that thrives in an ambiguous environment with ever-changing priorities.

  • Must have a passion for working with and supporting people.

  • While this is a remote first role, there's a requirement to be in person at least once a month in a Dublin coworking space. (The location may change within Ireland on an ad hoc basis.)

For Bonus Points:

  • Tech savvy, with experience using GSuite and HR/Cloud tools (Personio, Freshdesk, Notion)

  • Knowledge of Spanish, Croatian or French employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
